Rubbish Removal Lewisham

Looking to get rid of unwanted household or commercial rubbish in Lewisham and don’t know where to start? Ridly Rubbish Removal is here to help.

Lewisham is part of the Inner West Council area, where clean-ups are capped at two cubic metres and split into separate categories. Furniture, mattresses, metal, and green waste all go in different trucks, so each one needs its own booking and its own collection date.

Two cubic metres might sound like plenty, but it doesn’t go far. A single fridge or old couch can use the entire allocation.

If you’re in a share house, the allowance isn’t per person, it’s per household. So if you’re splitting the place between a few tenants and you’re all moving out the same month, you’ll chew through the yearly allocation in one go.

Everything also has to be moved to the kerb by you the night before collection, because council crews won’t come into your building or car park to collect it.

Building waste isn’t accepted at all, so if you’re redoing a kitchen or bathroom and need to shift anything two people can’t reasonably lift, it gets left behind.

Ridly makes it simple. Our team comes to your property, provides a free onsite quote, and can take your rubbish the same day.

We provide a white glove rubbish removal service for Lewisham residents, which means we come to your home or apartment, collect your waste, carry it to our truck, and clear it all in one go. No cubic metre limit, no separate bookings for different items, and we take heavy items and many things the council won’t touch.
